Rakim (the first Hip-Hop artist to master the art of enjambment and internal rhyme, thus revolutionizing the genre) once explained his method of creating rhymes. He said that he drew vertical (maybe two or three) lines from the top of the page to the bottom. Each word that touches that line has to rhyme. I always thought that was interesting and an awesome limitation to put on a poem. I think that the long sentence poem is very conducive to this method. Let it marinate..
